SHAPES

Many years ago special shaped bricks were used extensively in fine old buildings to enhance the brickwork and give elegance and prestige to a building. A look at any of the old churches, homes and even ware-houses will provide evidence of an age when people took pride in both their designs and workmanship.

Today we see re-awakening to this great age of architecture. In this current enviroment of hi-tech, cost based and pure lack of imagination and ideas, there is nothing in the market place that matches the finishing properties of classical brickwork.

Generally, speciality shapes are confined to the manufactures of dry-pressed bricks. Some extruded bricks have a limited number of shapes available but very few.

The diagrams will provide a better understanding of just some of the more common uses of these speciality shapes. The use of these shaped bricks is only limited by your imagination.
